About Manya

MANYA, a group was born from an ardent desire to create a larger canvas than what exists today, for the beautiful & unparalleled creativity that the simple artisans of India have been quietly perfecting for centuries. MANYA- was the brain child of the husband & wife duo of Jayanth and Soni Nazre which started as a small venture to encourage women entrepreneurs, has now metamorphosed as a registered non-profit organization, to promote marketing facilities for the welfare of the artisans & entrepreneurs of art & handicraft, by conducting Craft Bazaars. The aim is to bring as many Artisans as possible from all over India under one roof through our Handloom & Handicraft Exhibitions.

Our constant endeavour is to keep the middleman away & create a direct market for the Artisans. This is not only beneficial for the artisan BUT also to the end user, who can easily avail such products at an affordable price.

Our organization " MANYA" was formed and established in 2005 and registered in 2010 as a non-profit organization, registered under the Society Registration Act Vide - Reg. No. SOR/BLU/DR/682/2010-11 and is also registered as an NGO under the “Office Of The Development Commissioner (Handicrafts)”Ministry of Textiles, Government of India . Reg. No. 57029/NGO/DP-22/2010-11/898.

We began our journey through an unique effort to bring together the art, craft and handmade textiles into the urban market stream, thereby promoting, protecting and preserving the integrity and diversity of traditional Indian art, craft and culture.

MANYA, is also working towards social empowerment, and assists self-help groups, particularly women, and tribal communities, who seek to generate income through traditional skills. They are doing different projects for women and children who have an annual income below Rs.40000/-They do conduct training programs for women (who form self help) groups like tailoring, color dying, soft toys, candle making and beautician courses and supporting them to market their own products and motivating and making them financially independent.

MANYA’s main aim is to provide a common platform for the new comers and their events give the exhibitor direct contact with a bulk consumer audience. By this, they are constantly striving to bridge the gap between people who need help and people who are willing to help. We are proud to inform you that we have been quite successful in our attempts to help people. This has been possible only through the support of the people, like you.

Lastly, we wish to bring to your notice that we have a variety of brands to our credit, each with a different theme. We have successfully conducted several exhibitions in the past, catering to different sectors of business, corporate offices and residential apartments and getting an over whelming response for the products. Such positive responses have given us strength to achieve and strive for much better in the future
